Our amazing Flexipan molds are flexible and very easy to use. Withstands temperatures from -40° to 536° F, these molds are super versatile! Use them for baking, or freezing foods. Made from non-stick silicon, the items pop right out of the mold. Frozen or gel foods can also be pushed out from the bottom without extractor!
In 1989 Demarle introduced a revolutionary flexible pastry mold Flexipan®. One year later during European Exhibition in Paris the Flexipan® won the price for the Best Innovative Product of the Year.
Since then Flexipan® has changed the way of working in the food industry.
Flexipan® is made with a combination of fiberglass and silicone. This allows the mold to be flexible, and gives it its nonstick quality. It offers a long life durability to the product, making it possible to use it around 2500 times.
You don't need to grease the Flexipan®. You will still be able to unmold the product without breakage. You can use it to bake or freeze 536 to -40 °F (+280 to -40 °C) sweet and savory products.
Is it reusable?
Yes. Flexipan® has an average life of 2500 baking-times. Its life durability depends on its use, storage and cleaning. A greasy product can make its life shorter quicker.
Is it necessary to grease the Flexipan® molds?
No, it is not necessary because Flexipan® is a nonstick product.
How to clean Flexipan®?
Flexipan® can be cleaned easily after using: you can soak or place the product under the hot-water tamp. If it is very dirty, a soft sponge and some mild detergent can be used. After washing, place the Flexipan® in an oven at 302 °F (150 °C) for two minutes to sterilize it and make it perfectly hygienic.
You can also clean it in a washing-machine.
